Outside

First post in awhile, because I abandoned my camera for a long time... but it snowed tonight. When you look at lighted houses from outside during a snow, it is the most interesting feeling of being a stranger looking in, or one of the animals that exist on our periphery.  Peaceful but also sometimes lonely.

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
― Lewis Carroll
